Briana Horn joined Pope Animal Hospital as our Hospital Manager in May 2021. Born and raised in southwestern Illinois, Briana moved back to St. Louis, Missouri after spending almost 15 years on California's central coast. Briana earned her Bachelor's degree in Biological Anthropology from University of California, Santa Barbara and a certificate in Veterinary Technology education from Allan Hancock College. Briana has worked professionally in the veterinary industry for over 10 years, including managing small animal and equine veterinary hospitals. Briana is well versed in fear free and cat friendly protocols as well as dog training techniques. When Briana is not at the clinic, she can be found hiking, boating, event coordinating or at home with her family and their long-haired dachshunds, Belle and Chief.
